A Sunday not so long ago I took a drive over Slieveanorra mountain not far from my home to see what I could capture.
Not expecting much as its still earlier in the season and temperatures are much lower the higher you get, I was met with surprise at just how much livestock there was out thriving on the roughage

A year at Silverstream Farm

In this project I wanted to capture a photo from every month of the calendar year to show the farm that inspired me to pick up a camera.

A fine example of a pedigree Shorthorn bull, from the Lisnamanny herd of Martinstown.
Named "Volcano" his character and looks definitely lived up to the name!

Highland Cattle

As with many great photos they are definitely the most unexpected.
Whilst trying to capture some photos of a tractor run at the docks at Lisahally Livestock Market, these stunning beasts appeared seemingly out of nowhere from a field directly behind the market yard.
Surprised and delighted to get these!
